DELTA is expanding the product range of Static Hot Metal Detectors with fibre optic, launching two new, closely related Z-series. Thanks to the optical fibre transmitting the infrared radiation collected by the optic to the photosensitive element, which can be as far away as 25 m, both models can work in difficult areas with physical obstructions, limited space, steam, water etc.
The Z56 is based on the enclosure of the Stato-Sonde Z50 and proposes similar characterstics. The Z66 series has its electronic control unit protected by a stainless steel junction box with smart display and advanced features.
Both models are available with a stainless steel sheath for protection of the fibre from mechanical damages and for air conduit. Customers have a large choice of optics with three detection angles (spot, 4° or 12°) and optional water cooling and/or local air purging.
