Rolling Mill modernization at Gerdau’s Laisa site in Uruguay

The upgrade at Gerdau’s Laisa site in Uruguay will be completed by AIC team in order to guarantee the highest production requirements set by the customer. The automation and DC Drives revamping will focus on improving obsolete reliance drives for the rolling mill to ABB DCS880. Moreover, the new cabinets will replace the existing ones using the same current connection.
